About G. Morgan & Sons

Our Experience

G. Morgan & Sons has over 50 years’ experience in providing furniture to Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges throughout Ireland. A lot stands behind that number.

The business was established in 1959 by our founder, Mr. Gerry Morgan Snr, to manufacture tubular steel furniture. This soon progressed into manufacturing educational furniture.

Our experience has taught us the difference the right classroom furniture can make to the learning and teaching experience for pupils and staff.

We also appreciate how important it is for schools to make the most of their budget to create the best learning environment they can.

That is why for us, we offer much more than simply a school furniture supply service.

What Our Schools Say

  • We used G Morgan & Sons to furnish our new school extension. The range of products they had allowed us to select durable, attractive and quality pieces at competitive prices.

The support from John and his team was top class from the outset. Any questions or queries were answered promptly and the advice from John reflected his experience on supplying top quality, long lasting products.

When the products were delivered to the school, they arrived on time and as ordered. The team from Morgan’s set about unloading and moving the products to the required classrooms and locations. They did this in a manner that was cognisant of the running of a school and were very accommodating to any of our requests.

  • Edmund Rice College is a secondary school that opened in September 2016. The school was located in temporary accommodation for eight months and in April 2017 moved into a permanent, purpose built school building.

The tenders for the supply of a large amount of school furniture for the permanent building was awarded to G. Morgan & Sons. I dealt personally with Mr. Bryan Morgan of the company.

I wish to commend Mr. Morgan and all of his colleagues on the level of service that we received. All items of furniture were delivered on schedule and are of excellent quality. As well as Mr. Bryan Morgan, I wish to commend the office and delivery personnel that I dealt with. All queries were responded to in a very timely manner and the delivery personnel were most helpful and agreed to place all items in the rooms required and remove all packaging.

I am happy to recommend G. Morgan & Sons and can be contacted at the school should you require any further information.

  • On completion of our new eight million euro extension, the school placed a very large order for new chairs and tables for our 840 pupils, chairs for our new hall, notice and whiteboards and an array of classroom and office furniture with G. Morgan & Sons Ltd, in Drogheda.

At all times, we found their customer service to be outstanding. We found their experience and advice to be invaluable and helped us avoid mistakes. Our order arrived on time and the men assembling it were very professional and co-operative.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the company to any school intending to purchase new furniture in the future.
